How We Review Products

Our reviews are structured around a fixed set of criteria rather than first impressions:

• Formulation — the ingredient list, disclosed concentrations, packaging and stability considerations.
• Usability — texture, scent, absorption, pilling and how hygienic the packaging is.
• Suitability — the skin, hair or use-cases the product realistically serves.
• Tolerance — known irritation risks, fragrance content and sensible usage frequency.
• Value — cost per use, sizing and how the product compares within its category.

Where we have hands-on experience with a product or a close formulation equivalent, we say so. Where a profile is based on formulation analysis and publicly available information, we label it clearly. We do not invent prices, star ratings, verified purchases or testimonials.

Our Editorial Approach

Beauty content is full of certainty it has not earned. We try to do the opposite: use careful language such as “may help”, “can be useful for” and “is commonly used for”, and avoid claims like “guaranteed results” or “works for everyone”.
